Cassidy Hemp is an alumna of the University of Colorado Boulder School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is continuing her education at CU Boulder for her Post Baccalaureate in Music Education to receive her license as a Music Teacher. Her passion for singing begin at seven. She continued refining her vocal and performance talents in her school-age years and developed an advanced knowledge of music in college. Cassidy is committed to using her gift to instill in her students the experience of personal inspiration. The piano is the other instrument in which she is skilled, and Cassidy is motivated to share how dual instrument practice and performance are a thrill and can create beautiful sounds. Her main objective is to help her students create short-term goals and reflect on their progress as developing musicians. She wants to inspire and bring joy in and out of the classroom. Cassidy is excited to continue to pursue her dream of becoming a choir teacher in a school setting.

Performance

As a performer, it’s important to have a diverse music repertoire and explore languages and genres to challenge yourself and your voice. My genres and languages include:

• Genres: classical, musical theatre, contemporary, church

• Languages: Italian, French, Spanish, German, Latin, English
